Personal data collected
Online bookings:
When you book online for a course, class, workshop or therapy a certain amount of personal data is collected to ensure that I can provide a safe and effective yoga practice or treatment for you. This covers name, address, contact details, general health information. It is also a condition of my Insurance Company that such information is collected, and in the case of the 1-2-1 yoga therapy that I offer it is a condition of my registration with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council that I do this too. All information is kept securely in the Team Up online booking system (see their Privacy Policy https://goteamup.com/en-gb/company/privacy/ ), and only viewed by Susan Rodway-Hall.
You may update or correct your account information and email preferences at any time by logging in to your Team Up account and changing your account and profile settings.
Completed paper health questionnaires:
If you do not use the online booking system then you will be asked to complete a paper health questionnaire, before the start of you first yoga session or therapy. Just like the online form this will cover name, address, contact details, and general health information. Your name and email will be added to the online booking system so that I can maintain my online register and manage my accounts. This will also allow you to receive reminder emails regarding any courses, workshops or therapies that you are booked onto.
Any other mailings regarding other courses or will only be sent to you if you tick the check box to say that you wish to join Yoga Therapy Stockport’s mailing list then your email address.
Specific to yoga therapy
For yoga therapy additional information is recorded, such as more detailed health and lifestyle information. Sessional notes are also recorded and kept by me as a requirement of my registration with the Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council. These records are kept in a paper format only.
While yoga therapy most commonly refers to 1-2-1 session it can also include small group therapy courses such as yoga for anxiety and depression, or yoga for back care.
Security
All information whether online or on paper is treated as confidential and is not shared with any third party. All paper records are stored securely by Yoga Therapy Stockport.

How long is your data stored?
It is a requirement of my insurance company that any personal data collected either online or on paper forms is kept for 7 years. This applies for all general yoga, Thai yoga massage and Indian head massage. For yoga therapy the Council Complimentary and Natural Healthcare Council stipulate that all records are kept for 8 years after receiving any yoga therapy.
How I use your contact information
When booking either online, or on paper, you will be asked to sign a disclaimer. In doing so you are agreeing to your email and phone number being used by Yoga Therapy Stockport to inform you of class changes, service updates directly relating to the service you have booked.
You may, of course, decline to submit your email and phone number to Yoga Therapy Stockport, which in some cases may mean that Yoga Therapy Stockport is not be able to provide certain services to you.
If you do not wish to submit your email, and therefore are unable to book online, you can book your class by contacting me on 07813 077074.
Yoga Therapy Stockport Mailing List
When you purchase a service form me you will have the chance to “opt in” to receive updates on any new, future or alternative services that I offer. You can change this subscription preference at any time by emailing me at info@yogatherapystockport.co.uk. If you have an account with team up you can change your preferences at any time on your account settings.
Phone numbers
I may, from time to time, use your phone number to contact you about urgent class changes or to inform you if a waiting list place has become available. If you do not wish me to contact you in this way, please inform me by emailing info@yogatherapystockport.co.uk
Emergency Contact information
Emergency contact information is collected solely for use in an emergency in order to contact your next of kin or give this information to the emergency services. This is the only information that would be shared with a third party, and only in the context of an emergency.

Please remember that when you use a link to go from Yoga Therapy Stockport to another website, our Privacy Policy is no longer in effect.
