Beginner's Yoga

A beginner's yoga course is perfect way to learn about the basics of yoga. Over the six weeks I will introduce you to simple postures, breath awareness and relaxation techniques that you can use at home or work. The practice of yoga can help to:

  • relieve stress
  • increase flexibility
  • release muscle tension
  • improve energy levels

These friendly classes run on various days, locations and class sizes. See below for details.

Who is it suitable for?

The course is particularly suitable for any one who has never tried yoga before or for those that would like to restart their yoga practice. It does not matter how flexible you are, what shape you are or what age you are. All are welcome.

If you have a particular health concern that you feel might effect your ability to participate feel free to discuss this with me before booking on the course.

Course Details

Romiley - Evenings

Starts: Tuesday 20th February 2018

Finishes: Tuesday 27th March 2018

Time: 6.15 - 7.15 pm

Where: The Signol Fitness Centre, 67 Stockport Road, Romiley. SK6 3AA

Cost: £36 for six weeks (non refundable)

Places are limited to a maximum of 12.

Marple - Weekday mornings

Starts: Tuesday 27th February 2018

Finishes: Tuesday 27th March 2018

Time: 10.00 - 11.00 am

Where: The Hive, 39 Market Street, Marple. SK6 7AA

Cost: £35 for five weeks (non refundable)

This is a small group class. Places are limited to a maximum of 7 so advanced booking is essential.

Marple - Saturday Morning

Starts: Saturday 24th Febraury 2018

Finishes: Saturday 24th March 2018

Time: 10.00 - 11.00 am
