Menopause Yoga Mini Retreat: Coming soon in June

Acceptance, self nurture and simply giving yourself permission to do less are key parts of self care during the menopausal years. This mini retreat allows you to step away from your daily routine and take some time to pause and focus on your own wellbeing.  You will learn some strategies for manging common symptoms as well as learning how to relax deeply.

 

Massage therapies

I offer both Thai yoga massage and Indian head massage in Marple. Both are deeply therapeutic and holistic treatments and individualised to meet your particular needs. Whether you need to relieve muscular aches and pains or mental and emotion tension these treatments provide a natural remedy for the stresses of modern day living. A perfect way to relax and restore your body mind and soul.

I am currently using the lovely cabin of The Magic Cow Music Studio which is just off Dan Bank in Marple. Fridays are usually my massage day but I can accommodate other days by arrangement.

Beginner's Yoga: 6 week course starting 16th May 2022

A beginner's yoga course is a perfect way to learn about the basics of yoga and take that first step into improving your wellbeing.

You might want to improve your flexibility and release muscle tension, or you might want help in managing stress so that you can feel calmer and more in balance. Yoga can help you in this. Over the course I will introduce you to simple postures, breath awareness and relaxation techniques that you can use at home or work. You can find out more and book your place here.

 

Dru yoga for health

It has been a joy to return to teaching yoga face to face again. You can keep updated with the session times and dates by looking at the calendar page on my website here.

Although social distancing is no longer compulsory, I am still limiting the number of places at all my classes. I feel at this time that it is only sensible to allow as close to 2m as possible between students. Booking is essential.

 

Essential Oil Evenings

During lockdown I have been learning about essential oils. How to use them and what their therapeutic properties are. It turns out that there is a lot more to essential oils than simply fragrancing a room. I have enjoyed using the oils so much I have become a Doterra Wellness Advocate so that I can share the benefits of using the oils more widely.

Menopuase Yoga

Whether you are approaching menopause, in the midst of menopause, or post menopause these classes will support you on your menopause journey. During the class you will learn techniques and strategies to help manage common menopausal symptoms. You will learn to befriend yourself and relax deeply as reducing stress levels during this time is so important in the management of any symptoms. It also helps you to navigate the complex feelings around menopause so that you can feel calmer and more yourself.
